Session 14

We make it to the volcano and prepare to fight a man we see in the red dragon mask, seems unaffected by the heat
Further into the volcano, we see a room where a coffin is at, a dead body haphazardly thrown in it with her neck slit and hands cut off with little creatures eating away at her corpse, wearing a robe of red and black with black filigree, a less ornate version of the masked mans, there’s infernal in there that TMI couldn’t read
In the opposite room from where TMI saw the body, there was a room of old mint gold coins and mint condition books/scrolls, along with bowls of ash from incense
Down the room more, there’s a large orb that seems to absorb all of the heat, with phantasmal beings inside of it that are sleeping
Theo finds a coffin of ash and finds a recent mint silver coin from Gaval
TMI finds a Lich that flipped him off before laying back down, and warned him that the other Lich would kill him
TMI gets a ping from the gold they find in a coffin as transmutation, the artifact Valentine found has multiple types of magic connected to it
The spellbook has multiple names written down on it, a log of those who owned it. There’s an inky person inside of the book who claims to be the first person who’s owned the book, the name is Draakthys MArtyyr, but we call him Blot (helpful little fella)
We go further into the volcano and find an entrance to a lower part from a locked door
