Session 23

We wake up for another day out at sea, when about 30 minutes later, a kraken begins to attack us
Ty had been attacked by the kraken at first, and as he was in the water, found a cthonic mindflayer and bright her up, knocking her out
After we defeated the kraken, Ty, Grace, and Valentine went and grabbed the kraken pearl from it, alongside getting the final mask from the mindflayer.
The mindflayer woke up and spoke to us about how she was a protector of the mask for a long time, and only recently it began to act out and make the mindflayer act out of norm
Onyxel - the cthonic mindflayer we met on the ship who told us what she does and why she does it, a reduce, reuse, recycle system for the evil, sinful, and unwanted
Another cthonic was said to have had the mask, sais to have gone the route of immortality and turned into a golden dragon, likely dead by now
The sirens return and tell us they were chasing off a sea serpent, while we informed them of what happened on the ship
While on the ship, Grace told us about a plan Vicha mentioned, that if Ty ascended, he would be able to avoid being used as the catalyst by Tiamat, but it’s rather risky and is only a backup plan due to the odd ways gods have ascended before, having no set path
